Tiger Woods was the untouchable golden boy of golf. While some politicians may be off limits for obvious reasons, we now see that celebrities aren't, after witnessing the media's character assassination blitz against the worlds #1 Athlete.

In yesteryear, such stars as Michael Jordan and politicians as John F. Kennedy enjoyed the media's lack of through reporting when an incident would negatively affect their image. Not to say Jordan was out there doing the same thing Tiger Woods was, but stuff like punching his teammate in the face, his addiction to gambling, were not thoroughly reported, and probably hardly investigated. In a capitalistic country, this is somewhat understandable when you're a breathing, walking, and living product known in many living rooms across the country.

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no, its Michael Jordan. Maybe, maybe not. It turns out, social media does work, even when your straight up lying.

When Michael Jordan gave his Hall of Fame speech he mentioned that Bryon Russel motivated him to come back. He also mentioned he didn't push off of Bryon Russel when the Bulls beat the Jazz in the NBA Finals in 1998 (He did push off). The two had unsettled business.

So, in comes Brandt Anderson, owner of the illustriouss Utah Flash. His next move is straight out of the movie Semi Pro, yeah you know, the bear wrestling scene, just not as ridicolous. Since everyone knew that Jordan and Russel still had unfinished business, Anderson put up some money (100k) for them to play at half time, and the winner could pick a charity that the money would go to.

Has the AP gone mad? No, they did not spend much time or resources fact checking Sarah Palin's book, Going Rouge, but they are wasting Americans time with their ill fascination and humiliation of the new politician on the scene. I neither dislike, nor like Sarah Palin, but I do feel bad for her, and at the same time respect her sudden rise in the Republican forefront. One has to consider, why the AP did not mention that she got stuck with bills from the presidential election that McCain's camp promised to pay for. FACT!

Life is full of a bunch of what ifs and regrets. The truth is, if you went back and changed one small detail, it could dramatically effect the lives of those closest to you. This movie poetically portrays just that as the main character, Evan Treborn , played by actor Ashton Kutcher tries to make things right for everyone close to him. He finds out the hard way, that for every cause, there is an equal or greater effect. Usually in this movie, the effects are extreme.

It's a long time coming, the Queen of day time television, Ms. Oprah Winfrey will call it quits on CBS in 2011. Over 2 decades, and 25 seasons she will finally end her reign. Authors better hurry up and finish their books in hopes to get on one of her final shows. Women will be lining up to get tickets to shows in her final year. It will definitely be historic, but definitely not the end all.
