Every company has its ups and downs, usually its an annual happening. Google is no ordinary company. In about the same week, they had their new social media application, Buzz, land flat on its face, then were approved to buy and sell energy. What this means for Google’s competitors is left to be seen. It’s a bold move that few companies have made.

After all, Google is coming out with their own cell phone designed by HTC. It was reported several years ago that Android was going to be Google’s free cell phone to the masses. There would have been no monthly charges, no data fees as the free service would be supported targeted ads served up to users. The G1 was suppose to be that cell phone, but Google quickly refuted those claims saying that they weren’t making a cell phone, but they were making an open source Linux software that would be available for all cell phone makers.

Web Jumpers are going from website to website in a matter of seconds everyday on the Internet Highway, that’s why giving them less is often more.

This concept can be seen in action when reading articles on major news sites, Search Engine results, Google generic homepage, Twitter Tweets, Facebook, Youtube Videos, RSS Feeds, Banners, etc. People tend to glance and skim over information on the Internet, instead of sticking around to read a web page completely. They tend to favor the type of content you’d see on the back of a microwavable product, instead of a long recipe. It’s fast food in contrast to a fine cuisine. They want it quickly, they want it now, and when they find it, they want it easy, if not, they’ll jump to the next website.
